Véronique Sina

Dr. Véronique Sina is a research associate at the Institute for Theatre, Film and Media Studies of the Goethe University Frankfurt. Since October 2022, she has been engaged in a research project, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), entitled "Queering Jewishness – Jewish Queerness". Her research is focused on discursive representations of gender and "Jewish difference" in audio-visual media.

During the 2023 summer semester, she held a professorship in film studies at Goethe University Frankfurt. Prior to this, she was a visiting professor in media studies at Ruhr University Bochum, with a specialisation in "Media Actors and Media Publics, with a Particular Focus on Gender".
