You consider women's studies and the study of gender relations important?
You would like to stay informed about public lectures, colloquia and conferences organized by the Center?
You want to participate in events, but have not been a student for a while?
As a member of the Friends’ Association, you have the opportunity to actively support an interdisciplinary research institution committed to sharing academic research with the wider public.
The Friends of the Cornelia Goethe Center were founded on April 24, 1998. They support the Center’s work both financially—for example by covering printing costs—and through various public outreach activities. These activities include the annual presentation of the Cornelia Goethe Award at the Cornelia Goethe Salon, as well as the financial support of the Angela Davis guest professorship. The Friends’ Association welcomes not only members of the public outside academia, but also scholars and all members of the Center.
An essential part of the annual general meeting of the Friends' Association is a public lecture that addresses a socially relevant topic. The speakers come from both academia and other professional fields.
As a member of the Friends' Association, you can actively participate and support the work of the Center.
I cordially invite you to make use of this opportunity.
