Louka Maju Goetzke studied Cultural Studies at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, followed by a Master in Sociocultural Studies at the European University Viadrina, a Master in Critical and Creative Analysis at the Sociology Department of Goldsmiths University of London and a Master d'Etudes Européennes et internationales at the Université Paris 8. Goetzke then worked for two years as an editor at the print magazine Neue Narrative in Berlin.
