Veronika Duma has been a Research Associate at the Chair for Research on the History and Impact of the Holocaust at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main since 2019. Her current research project focuses on the robbery of the Jewish population in Europe.
She studied history at the University of Vienna and completed her doctorate with a gender-historical, biographical thesis on the Austrian Social Democrat, survivor of the Ravensbrück concentration camp and contemporary witness Rosa Jochmann. She then was a Research Associate at the Institute of History in Vienna. She has spent study visits to Germany and the USA with the help of the Marietta Blau Scholarship of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research.
