Description
The Cornelia Goethe Center for Gender Studies (CGC) is an interdisciplinary teaching and research institution at the Goethe University Frankfurt, where cooperating scholars from various disciplines conduct empirical and theoretical research and teaching on gender relations in the past and present. The research profile of the CGC is characterised by the bundling of the current research questions of the members of the Centre and moves, among others, within the framework of transnational migration and inter-ethnicity research, social movement research and queer studies. In addition to biographical research, the centre also focuses on the relationship between humans and nature as well as body and identity.
