Slađana Branković studied Cultural and Gender Studies at the University of Belgrade, Serbia and became a PhD fellow at the Hans Böckler Foundation in 2020. Since 2022 Branković is a PhD candidate at the Sociology Department, Goethe University Frankfurt, after initiating their research at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen in 2020. They engage with subjects of naturalisation of Western sex/gender regimes, discursive strategies in intersex advocacy, and trans and intersex representation in visual arts and are active in different LGBTQI advocacy contexts.
